Advanced Parkinson’s Disease Under The Midnight SunPost-MDS-Congress Symposium, Tromsø (Norway) June 13-14, 2014
Arranged by: University of Oslo, University of Tromsø and ScandMODIS
We hereby invite you to participate in our Post-MDS-Congress Symposium next summer. Several of Europe's top movement disorder experts will discuss modern treatment of advanced Parkinson's Disease. The meeting will be held at University of Tromsø, which is the World’s northernmost university, and at the Sommarøy Arctic Hotel, which is a conference centre situated on the outside of the islands of Tromsø city, on the picturesque beach of the Arctic Ocean, with just 2,200 wet and cold kilometers across to the North Pole. We can’t guarantee a clear sky for the midnight sun, but we can guarantee a unique nature experience!
The meeting starts at the University of Tromsø on Friday June 13 at 16:00. After the Friday session, we go by bus across the mountainous island of Kvaløya, out to Sommarøy Arctic Hotel, where we have dinner (indoors, or weather permitting, by a bonfire at the beach).
On Saturday June 14 we have program from 9:00 and all day. In the evening, we will again have dinner at Sommarøy Arctic Hotel. On Sunday we have no formal program, and buses will leave for Tromsø Airport and Tromsø City after breakfast (or after lunch) – whether you are going home, or decide to spend some more days up north.
We hope that this will be a spectacular meeting, both scientifically and socially, and because of the unique venues. We expect about 100 participants.
Registration is open.
We hope to see you next summer, under the midnight sun!
